The USA gets into the green list of France in terms of travel.
Recently, France has expanded its list of green lists of countries, and it brings elation amongst the USA travelers. The country has now lifted stringent travel restrictions for 23 new countries, including the USA. Reportedly, France has made a traffic light system operational since the summer of 2021. The system was initially introduced to monitor and maintain travel restrictions to limit the spread of the virus amongst citizens.

But recently, France has been rearranging the green list and has exponentially allowed several new countries to cross its borders. Initially, 29 countries were added to the list at the beginning of March, but now the country revised the proportion and added 23 other countries. The new addition involves lifting travel restrictions from several major countries, including the USA, Tunisia, and Brazil.
The United Kingdom and Australia cannot make it to the green list and remain on the orange list.

Some Green List Rules For Travelers
France has released some guidelines for green listed countries’ travelers:

If you are fully vaccinated, you are not required to show any COVID test report to enter the border.

If you are unvaccinated, the country allows you to travel for any reason provided that you show some COVID-related test documents at the border. France mandates a PCR or an antigen test taken at least 72 hours and 48 hours before the departure, respectively.

If you are fully jabbed, you can travel to any part of the country without showing a COVID test report.

If you are not fully jabbed, you can travel for important reasons only, like if you are a French national and want to return home, and essential business trips.

As per the latest travel rule updated on March 14th, a vaccine pass is no longer necessary once you enter the country’s border. Also, masks are not necessary for most indoor public spaces, but you must wear them if commuting publicly.
